The strategic goods division trades the commodities that governments and large buyers treat as security-critical: meat, fish, birds and live animals, together with sugar, edible oil and salt.

These move differently from dry bulk. They carry veterinary certification, cold chain and shelf-life constraints that grain does not, and the division is structured around those constraints rather than around tonnage alone.
