Sea and River Transport

Scheduled and tourist services, run on the group's own tonnage.

The transport division runs sea and river services: scheduled cargo routes, and passenger and tourist traffic. It also carries the group's communications work — the traffic between offices, agents and consignees without which a route does not function.

This division is the reason the yards build to an operating specification. A vessel ordered under Marine Arsenal and Shipbuilding is ordered against a route already running, so utilisation is a planning input rather than a hope.
